Partnership comes with sports betting set to be legalised in Arizona from September.
Organisers of the Fiesta Bowl college football game have revealed a multi-year betting and fantasy gaming partnership with gambling company Caesar’s Entertainment. The alliance will focus on fan engagement initiatives, the Fiesta Bowl’s events throughout the year, and expanding sports gaming and education in Arizona.
In addition, Caesars will host new fan lounges at the Fiesta Bowl, which takes place at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, and the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. It will also be the title partner of Fiesta Bowl pregame parties.
The partnership, which is the first sports betting and fantasy gaming deal for a college football Bowl game, follows the recent news that sports betting will be legalised in Arizona.
Dan Shapiro, chief development officer at Caesars Digital, said: “We’re thrilled to work with the Fiesta Bowl Organization on this landmark partnership to bring college football fans closer to the game and build awareness around the importance of responsible gaming practices.”
The Fiesta Bowl’s chief marketing officer, Jose Moreno, added: “We are teaming with an industry leader who is dedicated to working with us to elevate our offerings for college football and all sports fans across Arizona.”
